Before I left you I had these words

Bitter beams hold these arms up
With sultry canvased frowns abounding
Dictated dreams land
Harsh to the gravel ground
No flowers
Clean spirit, you, and fresh fruit
My cerebral ribbons spring
Clear wires
Steep fibers
Dark with the oceans that climb
The walls and my home
And my lonesomeness
I dream five wires out to you
Come climb my walls
and make that ocean spark you
into blue
That's how the first forest grew
Don't let me tempt you

The Red Good Way

My floorboards and a mouse
My brittle house is dying
Three stars have whittled down
The red good way for standing
Drink heavy my soul
Bruise my physicality
So I can breath more deeply
Spirituality

Small Knobs

He was flying
She was flying
The sun was up
The sun was mine
They were flying free

Run to the fortress and undress
Do clothes speak your pride?
Rest here in the flowers
I'll kiss your naked back
I am hesitant as the small knobs
Twist and you dilute
The clarity of truth

Gaping longing dream

While away your clear days and you are mine
I swim in whirlpools to your smile
But I like to be alone
Can we skip rocks and sing
While Mars is gaping
towards the dream
Just be still
Bones and soul
Rest beside me
Let's admire the great caverns between us
Feel my voice and watch my sound
I will love you if you land gentle
And let us be solitary trees
Side by side
To lend a quiet dream

Wild Beast Feast

A feast of wild beasts is found to be rare
Here in the forest
Where she detests
The form of the fierceness
That her friends exude.
In lieu of beguiling her wild things
Towards calmness
She struts forward
Through the forest
With them in their traveling feast of colors
Towards fierceness and wonder.
For it was rare unlike the despair
That she partook of
In her color chasing
Feast of sun light
And moons glowing
The beasts were crooning.

The Song Can Dance, My Heart

You ran to the little fence- peered over the side
The grass swept over to the side of the skies
Brown and red overtook the trees- humming bumblebees
Windswept blue took you running down the path of all you have
Windswept blue brought you to him
Castles rose within your heart
When the meaning of your dreams fell apart
Hum you two in the tree house
Dearest darling branches unfurling
Dance a spirit caught up in eternity
Through crackled leaves- barefoot in fall
A storybook land came to you but
It's never right.

Mountains are Made from Porcelain

Commotion of ocean hearts

A scent like potion starts

To tumble and dry

In your swelling eyes

Mountains climb rising dreams

Fighting with seven seas

For that screaming daisy

Longing for ukulele

Dance like the way you said

Most things are never read

In that shouting place you were found

Passion brews moments around

Linen and porcelain take

Paper cuts for hearts to break

Lemon tea stirs the love

You dreamt up in mountain groves

All nature bends to meet you now

Waiting for your fevered brow

Oceans mount mountains musing

Your finery has been confusing

Musings

You could take my hand. You could lead me down by that sad old house and wipe away my tears. Your fingertips are rough on the skin of my face but gentle against my palm. We could spend the night against the fragrant heaving earth, and maybe I will hold back my tears for a short while.

This is my face

We will walk together
It is Tuesday
Let me walk with you
Where did you go?

Floorboards

The floorboards are aching
Heavy with your tears
I will swim across the room to you
I will avoid splinters when I float
The old floorboards are hostile for having served you

Are you a tree?
Pine Maple Spruce
I am expansive in my need
to be close to you
Trembling over your skin
and searching for
Some semblance of truth
do you have enough universe in you
to love me?

Moon Girl

Your bones are rocks
And I am flying
Who needs a home
when there's a sky
I still want to be held in your arms
When you behold me
Will you just see
A girl from the Earth?

Because I play in the flowers
I lay in the dirt
I kiss smooth pebbles
And I've learned not to hurt

But this place is not mine
And your bones are temporary
I do not own you
But hold me anyway
Until I get back to the sky

And I will love you on the moon

I can't climb the tree

You are the day after I sleep
Hold my bitter tea leaves
In your cracked palms

The morning brings butter on toast
And the sun
It is warm on my toes

I can't climb the tree
with the fragile limbs
gentle like my grandfather

You can spread you hands open
To hold my morning mind
And I will go to find
A tree that I can climb
